Sharing God’s Love with the Homeless in Southwest Michigan

Through Pens 4 Purpose, we create and distribute Hug Bags — care packages that offer practical help and the hope of Christ to men and women experiencing homelessness. Each bag contains essential items along with Scripture and messages of encouragement.

Join Scripture Sisters

Want to make a hands-on difference? Join Scripture Sisters! We meet every other Tuesday from 6:00–8:00 PM at 120 E. Bertran Rd., Niles, MI 49120. Whether you help pack Hug Bags, study Scripture, or build faith-filled friendships, there’s a place for you.

How Our Hug Bags Make a Difference

More than supplies — each Hug Bag is a tangible reminder that someone cares and that God has not forgotten them.

Each Hug Bag includes:

Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, etc.)
Socks and seasonal comfort items
Snacks, water, and first aid basics
A journal or pen for reflection and prayer
Encouraging Scripture and notes of hope

Your purchase directly funds these Hug Bags, spreading kindness, restoring dignity, and reminding people they are beloved children of God.
